People not taking part in events who cannot change their normal working or travel arrangements should:

  • Friday 18 July - avoid the CBD, particularly Wynyard, St James, Martin Place and Central stations between 11.00am and 7.00pm.
  • Saturday 19 July - trains through the CBD will be crowded throughout the day. Avoid North Sydney and Milsons Point stations before 2.30pm.
  • Sunday 20 July - trains to the CBD will be crowded from early morning. Trains from the CBD will be very crowded from 12.00pm onwards. Avoid Central Station if possible.
