Green Square and Mascot commuters to save $17 a week
Posted: Wednesday 2 March 2011
The access fee is levied by the stations' owner, Airport Link, to cover running costs. Airport Link will continue to own and operate the stations, but from 7 March the NSW Government will cover the cost of access on behalf of CityRail customers. It is recognised that customers at Green Square or Mascot should not be paying more to use their local station than other commuters.
Access fees will continue to be levied at Domestic Airport and International Airport stations, which are also operated by Airport Link.
